The task of marketing a property can seem overwhelming!
I am not going to tell you there is some magic formula to quickly post your properties for sale and get the most exposure,
unless you hire a Virtual Assistant. If you are doing it yourself, I will tell you to devise a system so you don’t leave out important sites. Perhaps a checklist you follow for each and every property you want to post.
I am here to show you some tools I’ve discovered that make marketing fun and a little easier, as well as making you look professional!
You can reach numerous websites with one postlet!
The first tool I would like to share with you is a flyer you can create for your property with pictures, descriptions and links. It’s called a Postlet and can be created
for free at
http://www.Postlets.com. It is a simple form that you fill out with all the pertinent information about your deal, as well as a place to upload photos of the property. You can change the color scheme to match your property or your taste! Once created, you are provided a link and html code for sites such as Craigslist. Placing the html code into the body of your Craigslist ad will actually display your flyer right in your ad! Postlets are a MUST for advertising your property! Take photos of your property and make them come ALIVE!
The next tool that I use regularly is Windows Live Movie Maker. This tool takes simple photos and transforms them into a lovely slideshow which you can then post on
which ranks high in the search engines (go figure since it is owned by Google!) Video is today’s media, and you can add words directly through
Youtube.com or do what I do and use Powerpoint slides and screen capture. Take a look at a video I made using Windows Live Movie Maker:
