Albany REI marks one year anniversary – Action Investor Network

Every Capital District Investor should know by now about the Action Investor Network (AIN). This group has been in existence for a little over a year now and is growing strong!

Last night’s meeting at Appletini’s in Albany, NY was packed full of information every real estate investor in the room found helpful. We honored Jack O’Hara for his mentoring of new real estate investors. It was actually Jack’s REI group – Real Estate Investors Networking Organization (REINO) that started this whole group going. AIN is a spin-off of that group, taking Jack’s intimate networking and educational sessions to a new level.

The spin-off group of two REINO members has turned into over 100 investors meeting once a month to learn, network, hear about hot deals and break bread. The group has this philosophy:

Supporting the greater Capital District in Albany NY, Action Investor Network (AIN) is an organization dedicated to helping real estate investors grow their businesses. Through monthly meetings and a facebook forum the group connects new investors with those more experienced, sellers with buyers, and private/hard money lenders with those looking to borrow.

Glenn Schworm of Signature Home Buyers did a great job presenting on fix and flip strategies, part of an ongoing six-part educational series. Last night’s presentation was on ways to acquire private money to fund deals. Eyes were glued to Glenn and notes were taken by many. Members walked away with fantastic information!
